How We Collect Personal Information

Information Collected Automatically by Our Website

Sharing of Personnel Information     

As PSSI is a group of related companies, we may share personal information with our affiliated companies.  We may also share personal information with third-party service providers (who are appointed by us and who operate under our instructions) to assist us in providing information, products and/or services to you, in conducting and managing our business and/or in managing and improving our website.  We provide personal information to these affiliated companies and third-party service providers for the following purposes:

Finally, we will also respond to requests for information where required by to do so by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, request from a regulator or any other legal process served on us.

Retention of Personal Information

As a general rule, PSSI only keeps personal information for as long as required to fulfill the purposes for which the personal information was collected.  

Notwithstanding the foregoing, in some circumstances we may be required to retain personal information for other periods of time.  These circumstances include where we are required to maintain the personal information in accordance with legal, tax and accounting requirements, or we required to do so by law, legal process, a legal authority or another governmental entity having authority to make the request.  In specific circumstances we may also retain personal information for longer periods of time corresponding to a statute of limitation so that we have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or disputes.

Securing of Personal Information

PSSI strives to safeguard and protect personal information we obtain from unauthorized access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorized modification, unlawful destruction or accidental loss, and we utilize and maintain reasonable processes, systems and technologies to do so. However, you acknowledge that email is not generally recognized as a secure medium of communication, no transmission over the Internet is completely secure or error-free, and that the processes, systems, and technologies utilized and maintained by PSSI are subject to compromise. Accordingly, PSSI cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or unintended access to personal information that is beyond our reasonable control.  In addition, we request that you do not send private information to us by email.  Some of the personal information you may enter on our website may be transmitted securely via Secure Sockets Layer SSL, 128-bit encryption services.  Pages on our website utilizing this technology will have URLs that start with HTTPS instead of HTTP. 


Subject to applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights in regard to your personal information:

  • The Right to Delete – You may request a business delete personal information they collected from you and to tell their third-party service providers to do the same. However, there are many exceptions that allow a business to keep your personal information
  • The Right to Opt-Out of Sale – You may request that a business stop selling your personal information.  With some exceptions, a business cannot sell your personal information after they have received your opt-out request unless you later provide authorization allowing them to do so again.  A business must wait at least 12 months before asking you to opt back in to the sale of your personal information.  Please note, PSSI does not sell personal information we collect
  • The Right to Non-Discrimination – A business cannot deny goods or services, charge you a different price or provide a different level or quality of goods or services just because you exercised your rights under the CCPA.  However, if you refuse to provide your personal information to a business or ask it to delete or stop selling your personal information, and that personal information or sale is necessary for the business to provide you with goods or services, the business may not be able to complete that transaction
